CES 2009: Sign Language Translator, Anyone?

At the CES 2009, there also were some lighter moments like the redundant sign language translator being released by the Krown Manufacturing, Inc. Now, why a deaf person would want to use the sign language translator need to use a device to understand when the same stuff could be written is something that is baffling. Would that mean deaf people would not know how to read and write?
Well jokes apart, this device could indeed help the deaf and the normal even. It can translate more than 3,500 words to sign language and all one needs to do is input the text and then the gadget will play a video of someone performing a sign language. It comes with a touchscreen display and a software based keyboard.
Once you charge it, it will run for about 6 hours and is a blessing for those who are attempting to learn sign language. It also does not weigh much and at about six ounces, it is like carrying a bar of chocolate.
